Description

Designed by Norman Foster for Walter Knoll, this coffee table reflects the architect’s disciplined approach to form and proportion. Part of the broader Foster 500 collection, the table was conceived to complement the series’ sofas and armchairs, bringing the same clarity and restraint to occasional surfaces.

A crystal glass tabletop appears to float above a precisely engineered steel pedestal base, creating a light yet structured presence. The geometry is intentionally minimal: a slender, polished frame supports the glass surface while maintaining the collection’s signature architectural expression.

Available in a range of sizes and configurations, the table adapts easily to reception areas, lounges, meeting spaces or contemporary living environments. Its balanced proportions and material contrast — transparent glass and refined steel — lend the design both visual lightness and enduring durability.
