Nic Graham and associates was responsible for the public spaces in this eclectic hotel that marries heritage elements with elaborate contemporary statements.
Considered a 'shebang' of creative flourish by the Australian Design Review, the QT Hotel in Sydney is a jewel in Nic Graham's crown and has borne a bespoke range of furniture from Stellar Works.
Spread across two heritage buildings, the State Theatre and Gowings in central Sydney, the boutique hotels design acknowledges the buildings history with original glass – complete with cracks– retained in the restaurant, while an original Gowings door subtly informs the introduction of the hotel’s 200 room accommodation.
