Celebrating the brand’s pioneering spirit, this event brings together a panel of leading Australian designers alongside a special international guest to examine the enduring relevance of Knoll’s design philosophy today.

At the heart of the discussion is Florence Knoll’s visionary concept of “Total Design,” a holistic approach that united architecture, interior planning, and furniture into a single, cohesive vision. The panel will consider how this legacy continues to inform contemporary design thinking, and how values of authenticity, sustainability, and innovation are shaping the future of the built environment.

The panel features Emily Moss, Principal at Hassell; Brooke Lloyd, Director at COX; Juliette Arent, Principal at Arent&Pyke; and Alexandra Ramundi, Workplace Strategist at MillerKnoll, who has travelled from the United States to take part in the conversation. Each speaker brings a distinct perspective on Knoll’s legacy and its influence across different scales and sectors of design.

The discussion will be moderated by Alice Blackwood, who will guide the conversation to uncover insights from leading Sydney designers on Knoll’s lasting impact.
