Perth Design Week 2026

At this year’s event, Living Edge will showcase a selection of pieces by Walter Knoll, highlighting the brand’s design philosophy and meticulous craftsmanship.

A public festival celebrating good design

Celebrating design across architecture, interiors and the built environment, Perth Design Week offers a platform for ideas and conversations that shape how we live and work. Taking place between 19th – 26th March 2026, the festival provides an opportunity to experience innovation and discover the stories behind WA's interiors industry.

At this year’s festival, Living Edge will showcase a curated collection of furniture by Walter Knoll, bringing together iconic classics and recent releases that reflect the brand’s design philosophy and meticulous craftsmanship. The presentation will place particular focus on Walter Knoll’s locally manufactured furniture, celebrating the brand’s unique connection to Australian production.

Founded in Germany in 1865, Walter Knoll is a leading German manufacturer of high-end, sustainably produced furniture, with more than 150 years of expertise in crafting exceptional leather, fabric and timber pieces for contemporary living and workplace environments. The family-owned company is internationally recognised for its commitment to quality, timeless design and award-winning innovation.

The showcase will bring together global design expertise with the strength of local craftsmanship. In a rare distinction among international design houses, South Australia is home to Walter Knoll’s only production facility outside Germany, where a selection of its celebrated pieces are manufactured locally. The local facility enables shorter lead times for Australian projects and provides access to dedicated repair and refurbishment services, extending the lifespan of each piece.
