Description

Phoenix is also a tribute to the visionary architect Rudolph Schindler. A pioneer of architectural modernism, Schindler successfully blended organic forms with functionality. This chair is inspired by his philosophy, combining the robustness of aluminium with the lightness of the seat.

The Phoenix chair is composed of two curved aluminium sheets, whose symmetrical assembly serves as both the base, structure, and seat of the chair. Despite its apparent rigidity, the chair offers a high level of comfort due to its upholstered seat and backrest. It is, therefore, a technical feat that combines the delicacy of aluminium with its strength.
