All day, September 6, guests can experience interactive installations, product launches, and thought-provoking design moments that reflect our commitment to sustainability and enduring quality. From iconic pieces that have shaped design history to new releases set to become tomorrow’s icons, the showroom will offer inspiration for everyone.

By bringing together those specifying products with the companies that supply or create them, Saturday Indesign offers a unique, in-person experience for networking, learning about new products and trends, and understanding company cultures, ultimately driving meaningful connections within the Australian design landscape. Bringing our signature mix of world-class brands, exclusive product showcases, and activations to the heart of the city. This year, we’re opening the doors to our Church Street showroom, inviting the design community to explore an immersive program that celebrates craftsmanship, innovation, and authentic design.

Espresso Experience by La Marzocco Home + St Ali
EXPERIENCE: 9am-5pm
Step into a world where Melbourne coffee culture meets Italian craftsmanship. Sip expertly pulled espresso, uncover the subtle art behind each cup, and linger in a space curated for reflection and connection during Saturday Indesign 2025.
Unleashed Potential 2025
EXHIBITION: 9am-5pm
Returning for its second year, the Unleashed Potential Magis Puppy Design Challenge is back by popular demand. Building on the overwhelming response in 2024, this playful yet purposeful activation once again invites leading architecture and interior design firms to reimagine the iconic Magis Puppy. With creativity unleashed in support of Guide Dogs Victoria, the challenge unites the design community around a shared commitment to innovation and impact. Visitors can expect a vibrant exhibition that celebrates imagination, generosity, and the spirit of collaboration all in the name of a good cause.

The Future of Work in a World of Change
PANEL DISCUSSION: 1pm
We all know that the workplace has been changing rapidly in recent years, but what else does the future hold? As hybrid commercial spaces, co-working, technology shifts and other workplace evolutions continue – and accelerate – this panel will consider what it all means for good design. From furniture and office layout to questions of circular economy and reuse, we ask what it means to design for longevity in today's changing workplace. On this panel: Chris Hagan (NaughtOne), Freya Robinson (FK), William Cassell (Cox) and Manuela Millan (Fortis). Moderated by Timothy Alouani-Roby (Indesign).
Introducing Gelato with Gelato
EXPERIENCE: 1:30pm
To celebrate the arrival of Gelato, a new light by Established & Sons unveiled at Milan Design Week 2025. Join us in the showroom for a playful activation where complimentary gelato will be served amongst an installation of these whimsical, sculptural lights. Designed to delight, Gelato was originally designed in the 1960s as a wired table lamp, Carlo Nason and Established & Sons have redeveloped Gelato into a portable lamp, bringing the Italian designer’s artistic philosophy into 21st century technology.
Puppy Competition Winner Announced with Aperitivo Hour
EXPERIENCE: 3pm
Aperitivo Hour at Living Edge provides the perfect backdrop to announce the winners of the Unleashed Potential Magis Puppy Design Challenge. Guests are invited to enjoy a drink, connect with fellow members of the design community, and recognise the creativity and skill behind this year’s entries. Set within our showroom and surrounded by exceptional pieces from the world’s most respected brands, the occasion offers an opportunity to celebrate both the competition’s talent and the collaborative spirit that drives the industry.

International Outdoor Icons
Discover outdoor design from around the world in our curated showcase, bringing together iconic pieces from Italy’s RODA, Belgium’s Extremis, Denmark’s Muuto, America’s Knoll and England’s Tom Dixon. On display throughout the showroom, this installation captures a global perspective on outdoor living. Each piece reflects the unique design philosophies of its origin.
