This dedicated installation brings a renewed focus on Wrong Shop in Australia, where art and design converge to present a striking collection of limited edition prints and collectible design objects.
A designer, creative director and specialist in modern manufacturing, Sebastian Wrong came to design from a fine art background, and the intersection of these two very different worlds continues to influence his work today. Wrong co-founded Established & Sons and has collaborated with renowned designers such as Konstantin Grcic, Jasper Morrison, and Richard Woods.
A bridge between the worlds of art and design, Wrong Shop was founded to allow independent and multidisciplinary makers to expand the boundaries of their practices. The Wrong Shop started out as a collection of unique furniture designs. It then grew to include stamped and numbered limited-edition prints, art objects and, more recently, a collection of posters – a contemporary, considered take on a powerful and democratic medium.

The collection includes pieces by some of the world’s most exciting artists, offering a fresh perspective on collectible design for the contemporary home. Popular prints include Ronan Bouroullec’s minimalist compositions, Richard Woods’ iconic woodgrain patterns and the distinctive graphic work of Nathalie Du Pasquier, a founding member of the Memphis Group known for her bold, geometric patterns and vivid use of colour.
