Jubilee Place Past, Present, and Future. Perfect.

Jubilee Place is home to a completely rejuvenated heritage-listed site. In close consultation with the client, Derlot customised the popular Mochi collection. Lengths, shapes, and finishes made to create soft, welcoming foyer spaces that encourage gathering and interaction.

Jubilee Place combines state-of-the-art technology and sustainable design with iconic heritage to create Brisbane’s most impressive next-generation commercial development.

Soft furnishings play a crucial role in designing commercial lobby spaces that are both visually appealing and functional. These carefully selected elements add comfort, style, and a welcoming atmosphere to the area, making it an inviting space for visitors and employees alike. This was taken into special consideration with the revitalisation of Jubilee Place.

Derlot Mochi

The iconic Jubilee Place, designed by award-winning architecture firm Blight Rayner has recently completed offering a striking 14-level office tower with expansive ground floor public spaces, a rejuvenated heritage-listed Jubilee Hotel and destination dining precinct. Located on a challenging site above the Clem7 tunnels, the exterior features an 8m cantilever of 11 levels over the adjacent heritage-listed Jubilee Hotel. A lightweight structural steel diagrid solution was designed to overcome these challenges by directing the weight of the building to its perimeter.

Derlot Mochi

Mochi is named after the smooth and soft Japanese rice cake that invites good fortune. A playful ode to this versatile treat, Mochi’s five seating elements can be arranged to create a number of configurations that blend perfectly into every setting, residential or commercial. Mochi’s pared-back, poetic silhouette charms from every angle and adds a welcoming feel to any situation.
