Sketch a Seat

Young creators under 16 were invited to imagine and illustrate their dream chair through hand-drawn or mixed media artworks.

The Little Artist Chair Competition

Sketch a Seat invited the next generation of creatives to reimagine what a chair could be. Open to young artists and makers under 16, the competition encouraged playful thinking through drawing, painting and collage.

From colourful interpretations of design classics to entirely original concepts, the entries showcased imagination, personality and a fresh perspective on everyday design. Entrants were offered the chance to win a prize of their choosing from Magis or Vitra’s imaginative collection of children’s seating.

Magis
