Stanislav Libenský originally explored the optical and physical aspects of glass from the perspective of a painter. He later took part in numerous interesting collaborations with architects, including a stained-glass window for Prague’s St. Vitus Cathedral. His extensive teaching career helped form the current generation of glass artists, both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
