Ståhlbom studied Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at the Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. He is a partner in the internationally successful Swedish design and architecture studio TAF Architects, which he runs together with the Swedish architect Gabriella Gustafson.

TAF Architects aim is to make life less ordinary, so through subtle yet effective amendments to how products and architecture appear and function. Mattias Ståhlbom’s products have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as MOMA in New York and the Swedish National Museum in Stockholm.
