Gabriela Náhlíková is a qualified architect, a fact which often transpires in her custom design work. She freely moves through twentieth-century European art history, but always retains a deeper understanding for the world of art. As a designer, she chooses motifs that are alluring to her, combines them, juxtaposes them with each other, and correlates and elaborates them in a multitude of ways.

Her work’s classic design, together with her use of visual projection, merges into an unexpected form of ‘romantic functionalism’ whose impression on the viewer is timeless.
