La Chance

Uniquely rooted in ornamental French tradition yet boldly contemporary, this Paris-based design house crafts furniture, lighting and rugs that bring sculptural warmth and graphic luxury to interiors worldwide. Since 2012, La Chance has invited a cosmopolitan array of new-generation designers to reinterpret Art Deco’s opulence through richly textured, European-made pieces.

Under the co-founding vision of Louise Breguet and Jean‑Baptiste Souletie, La Chance emerged from a shared appetite for graphic, architecturally shaped forms that feel as expressive as they are functional. Their debut collection - featuring standout works like the Borghese sofa, Iconic mirror, and Bolt stool - launched at Milan’s Salone del Mobile in 2012, earning acclaim among art and design insiders and laying the foundation for an international presence across over 30 countries.

La Chance celebrates creative collaboration by commissioning established and emerging talents - including Noé Duchaufour‑Lawrence, Luca Nichetto, and Note Design Studio - to bring fresh energy to its core aesthetic. The brand’s limited‑edition La Chance Limited series in particular elevates beloved classics through artisanal finishes - imagine velvet-clad Borghese sofas with silver-leaf frames or the Rocky credenza coated in gold leaf reminiscent of orthodox dome gilding.
Beyond design, La Chance’s identity is rooted in craftsmanship and integrity. Every piece is realized through skilled European artisanary - marble from Portugal, lighting from France, upholstery from Italy, woodwork from Eastern Europe - and made with sustainable materials like FSC-certified wood. Their design process is collaborative from concept to final execution, ensuring that each product emerges from a creative exchange supported by technical excellence and material sensitivity.
