Gufram

Since 1966, Gufram has redefined furniture with bold, irreverent designs that blur the line between art and everyday life. Born in Turin’s avant-garde scene, the brand transforms industrial materials into playful, iconic forms that challenge convention.

This Italian house of radical creativity emerged from the work of the Gugliermetto brothers and collaborators ranging from Studio 65 to Piero Gilardi. Together, they turned industrial materials like polyurethane into irreverent, artful forms - think lips, grass, and cacti, made wonderfully functional.

Iconic pieces like the sensuous Bocca sofa, the monumental Pratone, and the cheeky Cactus hall tree aren’t just furniture - they’re domestic sculptures that playfully transgress the boundaries between art and living spaces. Irreverent yet meticulously crafted, Gufram’s designs are suffused with Pop‑Art energy and the spirit of Italian “Radical Design,” inviting us to laugh, lean in, and rethink the everyday.
Today, Gufram continues to celebrate its storied past while inviting new narratives. Under the stewardship of Sandra and Charley Vezza, the brand returned to Piedmont in 2012, evolving through new collaborations and revivals of design classics. Its enduring energy - equal parts cultural rebellion, museum presence, and playful irreverence - ensures Gufram remains unmistakably, delightfully, Gufram.
