Pearson Lloyd

PearsonLloyd is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in Central London. The studio's work focuses on design, strategic brand development and research in the fields of furniture, transport design and public space.

Past projects have been completed for Fritz Hansen, Artemide, Ideal-Standard, Knoll International, Magis and Walter Knoll. Pearson Lloyd has won numerous awards throughout Europe and America for their work and were voted the FX Designers of the Year in 2002.

Luke Pearson trained in Industrial Design at The Central St Martins School of Art in London before completing a Master’s Degree in Furniture Design at the Royal College of Art in 1993. He then worked as Senior Designer with Ross Lovegrove in London and on a variety of furniture & product design projects of his own before joining Tom to found PearsonLloyd. Luke runs a Platform on the Design Products course at the Royal College of Art.
Tom Lloyd trained in Furniture design at Nottingham, before completing a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art in 1993. He then worked as Senior Designer with Daniel Weil at Pentagram in London and on a variety of furniture, product & interior projects of his own before joining Luke to found PearsonLloyd. Tom was External Examiner on the Design Products course at the Royal College of Art in 2004.
