Description
Motifs drawn from nature have played an important role in interior furnishings since the earliest examples known to us, and natural forms and structures have also been a recurring theme in the work of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec.
The figure is milled from a single block of the natural lightweight material cork with its characteristic irregular surface pattern and soft and pleasant texture. The limited and numbered edition of L'Oiseau in cork is available in addition to the existing versions in maple or ceramic.
Considerable craftsmanship goes into the fabrication of each piece, making it a unique object with individual characteristics.
