A continuation of his iconic Drawings series that feature colourful abstract compositions. Drawing is a vital aspect of Ronan's work. Created with a focus on gesture: lines and densely-layered strokes unfold.

Ronan Bouroullec is one of the most talented French designers of his generation. Alongside his work as a designer, drawing – which has been a regular activity since early childhood – occupies an important place in his daily life. In his latest works, line and colour reach across all sides of the composition.

For Bouroullec, drawing is a relaxing, even meditative process; he lets the felt tip in his hand flow freely and intuitively on the paper without planning the forms beforehand. Therefore, the forms have no clear beginning or end, evoking a variety of interpretations.
