Drawing 2 is digitally printed on Chromolux coated paper. With this technique, the coloured ink appears matte on the paper’s lustrous surface, resembling Bouroullec’s real drawing technique.

For Bouroullec, drawing is a relaxing, even meditative process; he lets the felt-tip in his hand flow freely and intuitively on the paper without planning the forms beforehand. Therefore, the forms have no clear beginning or end, evoking a variety of interpretations.
