Description
Foster 620 Side Table embodies the cultivation of the original through perfect craftsmanship. Here it complements the Foster 620 range designed by architect Norman Foster for public spaces. The occasional table is a delicate companion to a bench, armchair or sofa – both in a lobby or reception area and in a reading corner of the living room at home.
The development of the table involved a dialogue with nature. In terms not only of design but also of production technology. The base is solid wood with an evenly velvety surface. The challenge: how can you get a piece of a tree to brave the elements of heat and cold in all kinds of different climates without splitting? For months the engineers pondered this problem until they found the perfect solution.
