Description

Originally designed in 1967 by Joseph-André Motte, the Hexa 67 Coffee Table exemplifies a rigorous approach to form, material and construction. At its core is a simple hexagonal geometry, realised through a sophisticated composition of six interlocking elements that form both the tabletop and base as a unified volume.

This seamless construction gives the table a strong architectural presence, where structure and surface are intrinsically connected rather than applied. Premium material pairings — including brushed stainless steel with timber or richly grained wood finishes — reinforce the design’s balance of industrial precision and natural warmth.

Reissued by La Chance, the Hexa 67 remains a striking centrepiece suited to contemporary living spaces and gallery-like interiors. Its sculptural form and enduring materiality reflect Motte’s vision of modernism as both functional and expressive, where clarity of design is matched by craftsmanship and permanence.
