Description
In the 1960s, designer Warren Platner saw an opportunity. “I felt there was room for the kind of decorative, gentle, graceful kind of design that appeared in period style like Louis XV, but it could have a more rational base instead of being applied decoration,” he said.
The Platner Coffee Table transforms industrial materials into an icon of 1960s modernism. Capturing decorative grace in an architectural form, with hundreds of curved steel rods welding into a sculptural base that plays with light and space.
The clear glass top offers a seamless surface that enhances the frame’s radial geometry, making it a refined anchor point for any lounge or living setting.
