Description

Conceived by Anthony Guerrée, Orbe draws inspiration from artist Nicole Wermers’ geometric explorations, particularly her work with partially inscribed circles and intersecting forms.

The sofa’s foundational base supports a high, cantilevered backrest that extends beyond the seat, creating a sense of depth and architectural intrigue that invites exploration from every angle.

Designed as a system, Orbe allows users to customise its configuration, adapting seamlessly to diverse spaces and needs. From a cozy armchair to an expansive social arrangement, Orbe’s modularity makes it as versatile as it is sophisticated. One of the defining features of Orbe is its “Rocks”— modular, sculptural elements that seamlessly combine functionality with aesthetic impact.

Crafted from either solid stone or cast aluminium, these Rocks integrate harmoniously into the sofa’s architecture, serving as part of the foundation while extending its sculptural presence.

The Orbe Sofa represents a new vision for contemporary design, where modularity meets artful expression. Its adaptable layout evolves effortlessly, transitioning from an intimate chair to a social hub, embodying a sculptural language that elevates any interior.
