Luce Cilindrica Suspension Lamp, S1 (Short)

Description

Luce Cilindrica by Flos is the more architectural counterpart to Luce Sferica, replacing rounded glass volumes with slender clear borosilicate glass cylinders. Designed by Ronan Bouroullec in 2025, it brings a quiet rhythm to the ceiling line, balancing technical clarity with the subtle material effects of glass.

The lamp is built around a horizontal aluminium profile containing two LED strips. One directs light upwards, the other downwards, allowing the pendant to support both atmosphere and functional illumination. Each source can be independently adjusted through a discreet touch dimmer positioned at the end of the lamp.

Its cylindrical glass elements give the design a refined, almost measured cadence, particularly when placed over a dining table, work surface or long meeting setting. The clear finish keeps the profile visually light, while the repeated glass forms lend definition to the space. Available in three dimensions, Luce Cilindrica can be used alone or installed in multiple parallel rows where a broader luminous composition is required.
