Description
The rug is an interesting illustration of the connection between Art Deco and Memphis aesthetics. In the colourful version, the rug is typical of the joyful and geometric Memphis vocabulary Nathalie du Pasquier developed when she was the graphic designer of the group. In black and white, the pattern is reminiscent of the lines and rhythm used in Art Deco in the 30s.
