Description

Luce Sferica by Flos continues Ronan Bouroullec’s exploration of glass, light and industrial precision. Designed in 2025, the suspension light is composed as a horizontal line of clear mouth-blown glass spheres, each appearing to rest lightly along an aluminium profile.

At the centre of the lamp, the aluminium body houses two LED strips: one casting light upwards, the other downwards. A discreet touch dimmer at one end allows each source to be controlled independently, giving the user a practical way to shift between ambient glow, task illumination or a more balanced combination of both.

The clear glass gives Luce Sferica its quiet tension. It has presence without visual heaviness, catching reflections during the day and becoming more atmospheric when lit. Available in three dimensions, each with a corresponding number of spheres, it can be scaled for dining rooms, living spaces, bedrooms, home offices and corporate interiors. Installed singly or in parallel rows, it creates a measured field of light with a finely crafted character.
