What sparked your interest in photography?
I grew up with photography at home. My grandad was an artist and he became a photographer at the age of sixty. So we grew up with his photos at home. Twenty years ago, I met my wife, and she’s an Interior Designer. She cultivated my interest for interiors and architectural photography.

We are a family of four and each one of us has their own creative outlet. My wife Meredith is an Interior Architect, my son Finn loves videography and starting abit of photography, and my daughter Mila is the most creative of all of us. She loves fashion, design, painting, drawing and creating things. She also loves singing and she’s teaching herself music.

What sparked your interest in photography?
About twelve years ago, we purchased our first family home and we started to do our own DIY renovation. I developed appreciation for the process of design and build that led me towards architectural photography.

What is your photographic style?
In terms of shooting, symmetry and colour are what kind of draws me to an image. Brutalism is a movement which particularly inspires me. I've done a couple of photographic series which come from brutalist movements. One being the Japanese Metabolism movement, and the second being architecture in North Korea, which was quite heavily inspired by the Soviet Union.

My six year old is starting to pick up the camera, and taking pictures, which is interesting. It’s just a natural habit, which I think has developed by seeing me take photos. We do quite a lot of creative tasks together. They are little creatives, they'll spend hours drawing, and doing awesome crafts. So I think naturally, they have developed that skill by a subtle influence of my creativity.

"They’re incredible looking chairs, simple but very practical, especially with small children. They can be drawn on, drinks can be spilt on them. It’s a simple wipe. So for a young family, they’re perfect."
