High-end joinery showroom Casa Graziano celebrates the fine art of cabinetry, where generations of heritage meet the precision of modern workmanship.
Located in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond, Casa Graziano is a commercial project that showcases the bespoke joinery from Mr Cabinets. Designed by Biasol Studio, the interiors are akin to a home, with a living space, a kitchen and a study area that displays the craftmanship of the company.
What began as a family-led cabinetmaking business has evolved into a refined, design-driven custom joinery house, bringing decades of hands-on expertise together with forward-thinking technology. Anchored in artisanal craft and elevated through contemporary techniques, Casa Graziano represents the next chapter in Australian joinery, with materials, fixtures and accessories carefully sourced to reflect an unwavering dedication to refinement.

Biasol Studios worked closely with the makers to translate age-old woodworking practices into contemporary production methods, honouring tradition while embracing innovation. Every detail was meticulously considered, from the selection of materials to the precise, refined expression of the joinery. The result is a timeless space defined by timber grain, rich stone and a restrained, muted palette.
“Casa Graziano is an unfolding narrative shaped by design—where generations of heritage meet the precision of modern craftsmanship.”

Both decorative and essential, the geometric Atollo Table Lamp was designed by Italian designer Vico Magistretti for Oluce. The lamp was created from lacquered metal, earning the Compasso d’Oro in 1979 and cementing its status as a sculptural icon of the era.
The table lamp is paired alongside the graceful lines and cantilevered form of the Knoll MR Side Chair inviting a moment of pause, focus or relaxation. Designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1927, the chair is thought to be a modern derivative of 19th century iron rocking chair and uses a tubular steel frame. Featured within the living space is Frank Gehry’s iconic Wiggle Side Chair. Simple in form, Wiggle is constructed with the precision of an architect, resulting in a piece that is both comfortable and robust.
Born from Gehry’s early experiments with scrap cardboard, the design introduced a playful yet radical new aesthetic to everyday materials. Created as part of his 1972 Easy Edges furniture series for Vitra, the sculptural Wiggle Side Chair is formed from layers of undulating cardboard, transforming an ordinary medium into a design classic.

"Casa Graziano is an expression of where the past meets the present—where every join, edge and surface tells a story.”
