Under the visionary leadership of Eugenio Perazza, Magis evolved from family-run beginnings in Northern Italy into a globally influential design laboratory. From early milestones like collaborations with Andries Van Onck and Marc Berthier, through design classics like Jasper Morrison’s ‘Bottle’ rack - now featured in MoMA and the V&A - the company has never lost its experimental momentum.

Magis is renowned for nurturing a constellation of acclaimed designers - among them Jasper Morrison, Konstantin Grcic, Philippe Starck, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Naoto Fukasawa, Stefano Giovannoni, and Marc Newson - each contributing iconic works that fuse poetic aesthetics with functional rigour.

Highlights include Grcic’s aluminium Chair One, vaulted for its complex geometry and museum presence, and Giovannoni’s expressive Bombo stool, one of the most copied designs ever.

Magis also collaborates with designers and experts in the field of education to develop the Me Too collection, a children's collection that received accolades such as the Compasso d'Oro for Trioli designed by Eero Aarnio in 2008 and Spun designed by Thomas Heatherwick in 2014.

Beyond designer collaborations, Magis maintains its design identity through advanced materials and sustainable craftsmanship: pioneering air-moulded polypropylene, die-cast aluminium techniques, and responsible production - all proudly “Made in Italy.”
