Phoenix Chair

This iconic piece of furniture pays a respectful tribute to the legendary architect Rudolph Schindler, a pioneer whose architectural modernism seamlessly integrated organic forms with unparalleled functionality. Drawing inspiration from Schindler's visionary philosophy, the Phoenix chair ingeniously melds the robust character of aluminium with the weightlessness of its seat, creating a harmonious marriage of strength and elegance.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Phoenix chair boasts a unique composition comprising two gracefully curved aluminium sheets. This symmetrical assembly serves a triple purpose, functioning as the chair's base, structure, and seat. Despite its outward appearance of structural rigidity, the chair surprises with its exceptional comfort, thanks to the carefully upholstered seat and backrest – a technical achievement that masterfully combines the delicacy of aluminium with its inherent strength.

Rudy Guénaire interprets his dreams with a pencil. A budding adventurer, he first established himself as a successful restaurateur with the PNY brand and designed the decor for several of his own establishments before launching his own agency Night Flight, a reference to Saint-Exupéry’s eponymous novel. Rudy Guénaire designs personal, intimate, and lively architectural projects. Inspired by poet-architects, by exceptional craftsmanship and cinema, he revisits restaurants and residential projects with a new approach to modernity.
