Description

Designed by Tom Dixon, Bell Portable first appeared in 2021, translating the rounded geometry and reflective character of vintage car bumpers into a compact table lamp. The 2026 Bell Portable V2 keeps that distinctive bell-like domed silhouette, while giving you more control over how it behaves.

A concealed diffuser softens its 3W LED into ambient illumination, while the V2 introduces 10% brighter output, continuous dimming and switchable colour temperatures. A memory function recalls your last selected setting, so the lamp returns to the atmosphere you had already settled on. Its rechargeable battery provides 6–9 hours of cable-free illumination, with USB-C charging for simpler everyday use.

Finished in high-gloss ABS plastic, Bell has presence even when switched off, with its curved surfaces catching colour, light and movement from the environment around it. Carry Bell Portable from the dining table to the bedside, or outdoors for an evening before storing it inside again. Indoor/outdoor flexibility is supported by an IP44 rating.

Across coloured and metallic-looking high-gloss finishes, the form remains deliberately simple.
