BassamFellows introduced the Plank Table Collection as a response to a design challenge: how to make an incredibly lightweight table that would appear to almost defy gravity? Like some of the best modern architecture, the Plank Table challenges typical notions of structure, often inviting puzzled looks from those who wonder how it is able to hover so effortlessly.
The table’s innovative design formula uses a base structure that is visible through the glass top, showcasing it's clean geometric lines.
Materials: Low Iron Glass Top, Oxidised Brass base, welded by hand (pictured).
Top available in: Walnut (natural oil or black oil), Oak (raw effect lacquer or natural oil), Teak, Ash (ebonized, bleached white pigment or matt acrylic) or Low Iron Glass (clear or smoked).
Frame base in Oxidised Brass (pictured), satin nickel, satin brass, bronze, gunmetal, stainless steel or nanoceramic coated stainless steel.
