Description
The Muecke Ottoman by Knoll brings the construction logic of the Muecke Wood Collection into a compact, versatile form. Designed by Jonathan Muecke and released in 2026, it pairs a solid wood dowel frame with an upholstered cushion, balancing structural clarity with a softer, more relaxed use.
Its cylindrical dowels pass each other on nearby planes and connect where they meet, repeating the collection’s distinct joinery detail. The exposed end grain gives the frame a direct material honesty, while the upholstered top adds comfort and warmth without obscuring the underlying structure.
Designed to accompany the Muecke Lounge Chair, the ottoman can be used as a foot stool for a more settled sitting position. It also works independently as a small bench in a bedroom, living room, home office or corporate lounge area. The frame is available in natural oak, ebony-look ash or Oxford walnut, with upholstery offered across an extensive range of leathers and textiles. It arrives fully assembled and is sold separately from the Muecke Lounge Chair.
