Description

There are a series of intangibles that can be just as important in interior-design as colour, luminosity and shape. Often, the most potent first impression and subsequent memory of a space can be its smell. This scent collection evokes historical memories of British life, of travelling and trading across the globe and returning to the gritty smells of modern international London.

London
Top: Black Pepper.
Heart: Oud Wood and Vetiver.
Base: Cedar Wood and Patchouli.

Root
Top: Tumeric Root Oil LMR, Tumeric Leaf Oil LMR.

Royalty
Top: Cologne, Bergamot and Lemon.
Heart: Earl Grey Tea, Verbena and Mint.
Base: Cedar Wood.

Each wax and diffuser scent container is made from honest materials, from hand-spun brass to copper. Designed with the intention for a second life – whether this is a plant pot, container, or refilled into a new candle – scent vessels are adaptable and made to last a lifetime.

Our candles are made in the UK and contain 10% fragrance – a much higher level compared to the standard 1-3%, meaning the scent is stronger and will last longer. The larger and medium candles each come with a Morwad marble lid. The containers are designed to be used as storage vessels after use.

From his departure point in the early eighties welding salvaged steel into radical furniture, he has constantly reinvented himself through a series of different design lives – working with luxury Italian goods with Cappellini, Creative Director at Habitat and Artek, creating Plastics company Eurolounge and finally instigating his own eponymous brand in 2002 to rethink the product designer’s relationship with industry.
