Art in Residence is an informal installation of wooden objects and sculptures placed with ILMA, a new lounge chair by Jonas Lutz among other furniture by e15 at ANDREAS MURKUDIS 98.

Finnish-born designer, Jonas Lutz creates objects of bold simplicity and elegant solutions, often with a tacit playfulness. His objects instantly reveal a continuous search for the novel and the undiscovered. Simplicity of form is well balanced with a gentleness that invites the touch and modesty, which speaks of a deep comprehension of materials and a desire to highlight their qualities.

The installation explored the concept of simply living with art alongside furniture, allowing the pieces to amuse, disrupt or to serve.

“Following my first collaboration with e15, the ILMA lounge chair, I am excited to work together on this exhibition, which expresses our shared passion for authentic and natural materials.” Jonas Lutz

Lounge chair ILMA highlights the beauty of natural materials and bold simplicity. The solid wood frame is crafted from European oak or walnut and is coupled with soft and robust harness leather in natural, brandy or black. ILMA is a refined and modern interpretation of a sling chair with tacit playfulness that serves diverse environments.
