Pivot Panel Discussion, Sydney

Exploring the evolving demands of sustainability, innovation, and leadership in design.

A Conversation About Leading Change

We recently hosted an inspiring and thought-provoking panel discussion at our Sydney, showroom. The event, titled PIVOT – A Conversation About Leading Change, brought together leaders from MillerKnoll, Muuto, and Living Edge to share their insights and perspectives on the evolving demands facing the design industry today. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and leadership, the discussion highlighted the importance of adapting to new challenges and finding creative solutions that drive positive change in design and beyond.

The panel featured a diverse lineup of thought leaders, including Ben Groom, Chief Experience Officer at MillerKnoll; Anders Cleemann, CEO of Muuto; and Aidan Mawhinney, CEO of Living Edge, with the conversation expertly moderated by Alice Blackwood, an industry veteran and editor. Each speaker brought a unique perspective to the table, sharing their experiences, challenges, and successes in navigating the complexities of modern design. The dialogue provided valuable insights into how sustainability is not just a trend but a fundamental shift in how businesses must operate, innovate, and lead to remain relevant and impactful.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ben Groom, Anders Cleemann, Aidan Mawhinney, and Alice Blackwood for their contributions to this important conversation. Their leadership and vision were instrumental in guiding the discussion and inspiring attendees to think differently about the future of design. We also want to thank all the industry professionals who attended and actively participated in the event. Their engagement and willingness to share their perspectives helped enrich the dialogue, fostering a collaborative environment where new ideas on sustainability, innovation, and leadership could flourish.
