As designers, we have the opportunity – and the responsibility – to go beyond trends to create timeless design solutions. How does designing for longevity reduce construction waste but also benefit clients? What is the role of flexibility in designing spaces that will endure? Hosted in the Living Edge Melbourne showroom, at the highly respected program presented by Artichoke magazine, we heard from three speakers whose projects have achieved this balance.
