Scott Fellows

The title creative director fits Scott Fellows perfectly. He is that rare individual who combines expertise in business and brand strategy, a keen eye for design and product, and a penchant for communication. Fellows has created strategic visions and led product development for some of the world’s best brands.

In 1987, New York born Fellows graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with degrees in Economics, Industrial Management, and Costume Design – earned simultaneously through coursework at The Fashion Institute of Technology. It was the beginning of a career marked by contradiction.

Immediately following university, Fellows worked as a strategy consultant for some of the world’s largest consumer products companies such as Corning Housewares, Avon Cosmetics, and Owens Corning Home Building Products.

In 1993, Fellows earned his MBA from Harvard. The same year he also met with Massimo Ferragamo, the New York based president of the famous luxury goods empire, and became Director of U.S. Marketing and Strategy.

In his four years at the company’s New York headquarters, Fellows dramatically improved profitability and updated the Ferragamo image in the U.S. by centralizing all advertising and marketing, drastically reducing wholesale distribution, and pioneering the creation of shop-in-shops to showcase the new accessories categories.
In 1996, Fellows became Director of Worldwide Marketing and Image for Ferragamo and relocated to the corporate headquarters in Florence. In the position, he continued his drive to rejuvenate the brand. Under Fellows' leadership, the company was restored to a status of a luxury powerhouse. Fellows' work covered direction over fashion direction, advertising, public relations, marketing and promotion, retail store design, and visual merchandising.

In 1999 Fellows was installed as creative director of Swiss brand Bally. His task - to implement the turnaround strategy and the brand identity vision that he developed during the due diligence phase. The results were remarkable.

In 2003, Bassam partnered with Scott Fellows to form BassamFellows. The mission – to return true craftsmanship and beauty to contemporary living.
