Gordon Guillaumier was born in Malta, Switzerland and educated in Switzerland, England and Italy (Istituto Europeo di Design) and obtained a master’s degree in industrial design at the Domus Academy in 1992.

During his onset career years from 1992 to 1998, Gordon Guillaumier collaborated with Rodolfo Dordoni and Driade and assisted Enrico Astori with new design collections. After exploring his career path, Gordon Guillaumier found a Studio Gordon Guillaumier in Milan in 2002, focussed on products, interiors stand displays and consulting.

Gordon Guillaumier’s designs have been recognised with various well-known awards, encompasses Wallpaper Design Award 2014 + 2023, an honourable mention for XXIV Compasso d’Oro in 2016, ADI Ceramic Design Award, Archiproducts Design Award 2016 + 2018, and NYCxDesign Awards 2019. His work is often featured in reputable magazines. Gordon Guillaumier also lectured at the faculty of Industrial Design at the Mila Politecnico and the Abadir Design Academy in Catania. Since 2006, Gordon Guillaumier started partnering with Rodolfo Dordoni for artistic direction at Roda.
