Foster + Partners

"Our architecture is driven by a belief that the quality of our surroundings has a direct influence on the quality of our lives."

The company Foster + Partners founded by Norman Foster in 1967 is one of the most successful architecture practices of our time. Its buildings have established standards for intelligent, extraordinary architecture all over the world. Projects such as the headquarters of Swiss Re in London, China's largest airport in Beijing, the Hearst Tower in New York and the redesign of the Reichstag, the German parliament building, in Berlin are some of the practice's most celebrated contracts.
It is precisely this project in the German capital that saw the beginning of the collaboration between Foster + Partners and Walter Knoll. Since then, numerous lines have been created with the architecture practice symbolizing the synthesis of architecture and furnishing, including the armchairs Foster 520 and Foster 525.
