He founded his industrial design studio in 2009 after graduating from the Design Products MA course at the Royal College of Art.

By assessing and exploiting the potential of different kinds of materials, technologies and manufacturing processes, de Pass develops finely considered solutions that are both inventive and functional. An example of this is the versatile A-Bench, designed for Established & Sons in 2011 and made by mirroring and repeating two components.
