Description
Binaria is a stool which feels good. It has had time to demonstrate this fact, first appearing in 2003 in the catalogue of the Oken company. BD Barcelona Design now includes the chair in its own catalogue with three classic finishes – black, white and red.
It is not simply a stool, but a seat with a medical prescription. It is especially recommended for activities undertaken in a seated position but requires mobility. The Binaria Stool can be found in a wide range of work settings, from the dentist to the supermarket cashier.
The patented shape of the seat guarantees the most beneficial position for the back and legs. At exactly 135º, the shapes have been developed from a meticulous anthropometric study and are characterised by a central division, which naturally separates the legs to achieve stability for the coxofemoral joint.
