Bowl Bar Stool

Description

A bowl is an essential everyday element of our home life: a pleasure to hold, ergonomic, and practical. We took that fundamental form as the basis for our collection of Bowl Stools, each carved from a solid block of wood, with counter and bar versions incorporating subtly sculpted seating elements, and a dining height edition with a flat surface, allowing it to double as a side table.

Each of the three designs feature legs shaped as perfect elegant ellipses, conceived to contrast with the broader, architectural dish shape of the seat above.

Bowls are objects to hold in your hands, to caress, and the Bowl Stools, carved out of solid blocks of wood, similarly invite touch. The stools’ legs are pure ovals, an elegant visual contrast to the chunkiness of the seat without distracting from the quiet simplicity of the overall form. While the counter and bar versions of the stool are slightly dished for comfort, the dining height version of the stool is flat, allowing the stool to double as a side table.
