Description
Designed by Iskos-Berlin for Muuto, the Fiber Soft Lounge Chair gives an understated shell form a distinctly more tactile character. A broad back flows into gently raised sides and a wide seat, wrapping the body in upholstery while slender legs keep the silhouette light and composed.
Several layers of foam and wadding soften the shell beneath its textile or leather upholstery, creating the kind of cushioned seat that invites a longer pause. Inside, the shell uses 100% recycled plastic from post-industrial waste, reinforced with strength-improving additives and mixed with up to 25% FSC™-certified (FSC-C028824) wood fibres.
Two base constructions shift its expression. Powder-coated steel tubing gives the chair a fine, graphic profile, while the FSC™-certified oak base, finished with water-based lacquer, introduces the natural presence of timber. An extended range of upholstery and base options is available by enquiry.
Measuring 600mm wide and 690mm deep, Fiber Soft keeps its footprint considered despite its generous cushioning.
