Description
The Close To Heart Chair (Numbered Editions) explores a simple tension: how something structurally exact can still carry warmth. Its disciplined aluminium framework has an architectural clarity, while repeated extruded profiles create a rhythmic seat and a clean, rounded backrest.
Look closer and the idea becomes more personal. Heart-shaped geometry is embedded within the aluminium profiles, turning a structural detail into the chair’s defining gesture. It is deliberately subtle, revealed through the construction rather than applied as decoration.
Made in Denmark from aluminium extruded by Hydro, the chair is suitable for residential interiors and exteriors, giving its distinctive character room to move between settings.
Created to mark Muuto’s 20th anniversary, Close To Heart is limited to 150 individually numbered pieces. That finite production run gives the chair a clear provenance within Muuto’s first Numbered Edition Designs, while its material logic keeps it grounded as an object made to be used, not simply observed.
