Description

Designed for spaces where architecture and audience converge, this folding seat brings considered precision to row seating. Grounded via upholstered side panels that double as shared armrests, it forms seamless, continuous rows — each panel a structural and aesthetic bridge between two seats.

When unoccupied, the seat folds flush with the panel's front and top edge, disappearing into the line of the row. The result is an unbroken visual rhythm across the space — a detail that speaks to the design's deeper commitment to spatial coherence.

Beneath the surface, the construction is uncompromising. The seat is a single block of cold-moulded polyurethane foam, shaped around a curved tube frame, flat spring web, and pivot joints — a metal skeleton engineered for longevity. The backrest follows the same principle: foam and steel in quiet collaboration. Both are finished with zip-fastened upholstery covers, designed for effortless replacement without disturbing the form.

The seat rises automatically, guided by a double ball joint with springs and CSRT — Controlled Soft Rise Technology. No bang, no resistance. Just a smooth, silent return to rest.
