Emerging from the Eameses’ early 1940s plywood experiments, the Plywood Mobile translates their biomorphic, abstract language into a kinetic sculpture. Two organically shaped elements, cut from plywood, rotate gracefully as they suspend in air.

Available in natural or black finishes, the mobile captures an ever-changing interplay of form and shadow. Equal parts art and design, it reflects the Eameses’ commitment to blurring the boundaries between creativity and function.
