Grayson Perry is widely known for his ceramic vases, tapestries, elaborate prints and cross-dressing. His work dissects prejudices, hierarchies, stereotypes, social class, fashion, popular culture and the contemporary art scene.

In 2012, Perry was among the British cultural icons selected by artist Peter Blake to appear in a new version of his most famous artwork – The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band album cover.

Hand-finished lime-wash American rock maple timber frame with contrasting corner splines; 99% UV-blocking acrylic glazing; float mounting using wrap-around Japanese tissue paper hinges with purified wheat starch adhesive on cotton-fibre museum rag board and spacer; rigid non-porous backing board (3mm Dibond) with insulating inner board (5mm Coreflute); sub-frame with inbuilt split-batten hanging system for easy and secure wall attachment.
