Saskia Diez

After completing her training as a goldsmith, the Munich-based designer Saskia Diez decided to study industrial design which followed working in several design studios including Rosenthal and Konstantin Grcic before setting up her own studio.

Essentially a coincidence that led her back to jewellery design, in her informal reduced products you can clearly discern the perspective of design.

With their clarity and intelligent simplicity, they are truly captivating, playing with tradition and modernity, and citing the ‘zeitgeist’ without being trendy. In addition to her unique jewellery designs, Saskia Diez is also known for her travel bag “Papier” for which she received the German Design Prize 2010.

The jewellery case AC02 JEWEL presented in 2011 marks e15’s first collaboration with Saskia Diez.
